The place feels like it's running on fumes. Serious investment is needed. Breakfast could use an upgrade-just a couple of options without any chance to customize. There's also a lack of outdoor showers by the pool, a bit of a missed opportunity after a sandy day at the beach. It could really use a refresh to bring it up to scratch.

Big room with a balcony, the staff was helpful. The location was excellent and amazing, close enough to the center of Puerto Viejo, the beach in a quiet place and a good restaurant. Also, it was 4 km from St Doulagh's Church.

Staying here was a treat, especially being just a short walk to Playa Negra where I could relax by the ocean and enjoy the sun. The peaceful atmosphere of the nearby Finca la Isla Permaculture Farm allowed for lovely leisurely strolls in nature.

Amazing place! It's located right on the beach with no crowd around and yet in walking distance from the center of Puerto Viejo. The owners are nice people who will help you with whatever you might need. The swimming pool is very clean and the rooms are spacious and comfy. It's also nice that you can choose breakfast from more options. Will definitely be back!
The bed mattresses are very thin.
